This second-generation contractor's shop is the only design and construction business in the historic preservation area. Mr. Endo's daughter designed a noren which took into account the nature of the family's business while adding a touch of cuteness. Since the noren first began to wave on this street, Mr. Endo has been asked to design houses with a place to hang a noren over the front door.
