Maeda Confectionary
This shop began producing sweet bean jelly, yubeshi, rice crackers and candy around 1926. They make their saké-manju with the Gozenshu Mimasaka brand of saké produced by the Tsujimoto brewery of Katsuyama. They have requested a noren with a circle motif each time because it resembles a round manju. This time, their noren features a very Japanese design in black, red and white, resembling a crane or a geisha. |
