The three friendly circles on this family's current noren represent the lively, warm home made by their three sons. They requested colors that would match the color scheme of the annual Hina Doll Festival. Eighteen years have passed since the noren first began to wave in this town and this is their fifth noren. Another noren is patterned after the stone wall that runs the length of the Asahi River in Katsuyama. This time, the green color represents their three sons growing up surrounded by their kind family. They wanted a more vertical design, so the circles were arranged in two sets running top to bottom.
