Two generations ago, a woman from the Bingo District (now in Western Hiroshima) married an Oda ancestor in Katsuyama and they opened a shop named Bingo-ya, which sold various goods and daily necessities. The family's fourth noren features a design based on the stamp used for business at this shop, set against a white background at the family's request.They have another noren with a noshime design. The noren of Katsuyama have become a part of everyday life.
