This noren features the fantastic image of a blue night, with the moon shining on a quiet scene in the mountains. It was requested when the 200-year-old house underwent renovation. When Katsuyama was designated as Okayama Prefecture's first historic preservation area in 1985, maintenance on the row of historic houses began in earnest. Whenever the area becomes dark, stone garden lanterns are lit. The area was chosen as one of the 100 Best Promenades (walks with scenic or natural beauty) in 2002.
