Restaurant Shirakabe
This Chinese restaurant can be found along the main road of the noren community. The noren hanging in their entrance is based on the Great Wall of China. Another swaying noren, which faces the street, is dressed in the image of a warm and gentle breeze. A partition inside the restaurant was also dyed by Yoko Kano. This noren leads to more conversation between the owner and his customers. "Shirakabe" means "white wall," and this restaurant is right at home among the many
white walls of Katsuyama.
