This bamboo goods shop opened in 2009. When a new piece is just completed, the bamboo is a fresh green. Their noren was inspired by this color and the design of a round bamboo basket. Several years ago, the owner of this house moved to Katsuyama from Hayashima in southern Okayama Prefecture. He says that when he first moved here, it seemed as though "the noren were blended perfectly into everyday life." Each piece of bamboo-ware and the many noren of Katsuyama are two parts of Japanese culture that he hopes to bring together more fully.
